Our Two Step Contract Process
Contracting a company to build your application is risky business. How do you know you will get what you want? How do you know how much it will cost? How do you know you’re getting the best service and price? Proposals are a good start, but they lack the depth and breadth of insight into your application to provide a meaningful estimate. There’s no way a simple proposal created based on a couple short calls or emails can realistically tell you how much your software will cost. Alagad solves this conundrum with our Two Step Contract process.
We start most projects with a short contract where we work directly with you to analyze your project’s requirements in as much detail as is practical. We use this information to write a detailed specifications document that outlines exactly what we will build. Once you approve this document, we will create a detailed estimate broken down to each individual step needed to build your application.
To help you be a comfortable as you can be with Alagad, we encourage you to shop your requirements document around with other companies. We can give you a few names, if need be. When you’re comfortable that we provide the best solution and the best value, not to mention the best customer service, we’ll be happy to build your application for you.

At Alagad we use a simple web based tool to manage your product. We use this to delegate tasks to our team and to track the status of the project overall. You will always have access to this tool to report problems and check on the status of the project.
